Detailed findings – satisfaction and wellbeing

The workforce has higher life satisfaction than work satisfaction.

We asked respondents to rate their life satisfaction on a scale of 1 – low to 10 – high.

71% reported good life satisfaction, selecting six or above
However approximately a third, 29%, of all respondents reported lower life satisfaction, selecting five or below, with 7% of respondents selecting significantly low life satisfaction

We asked respondents to rate their work satisfaction on a scale of 1 – low to 10 – high.

58% reported less good work satisfaction, five or below, with 34% of respondents reporting significantly low work satisfaction
41% reported positive work satisfaction, six or above, with factors positively contributing to this being an empathic manager, supportive team and engaging job content
