How to sign up for the AMA
The fee to complete the AMA is £120 per year, inclusive of all registration, annual and professional review fees.
You must be a full or concessionary member of the Museums Association to begin the AMA.
If you’re an Essential member, you’ll need to upgrade your membership to become a full or concessionary member in order to undertake the AMA.
Get £50 off your first year of AMA fees
Register by 28 February
If you’re thinking about starting the AMA, now is a great time – until 28 February you can take £50 off your first year fees, meaning you can enrol for just £70.

Please note refunds are not given if you decide to discontinue your AMA. In certain circumstances your AMA can be put on hold.
Financial assistance from the Museums Association
Assistance for annual fees is only available for those funding their AMA themselves.
If you are finding it difficult to pay the fees required for the AMA there are limited funds available to assist with these payments.
Those seeking financial assistance are encouraged to apply to the Museums Association’s Members Support Fund.
Applications are considered on a monthly basis.
