Report | Exploring the impact of the Decolonisation Confidence and Skills Programme

The MA’s Decolonisation Confidence and Skills Programme provided support for people who work in and with museums to advance their decolonising practice through a series of in-person and online modules and events throughout 2022 and 2023.

The initiative embodied our commitment to advancing inclusivity, integrity and social justice within the museum sector.

We’re pleased to present a new report by Katy Bunning at the Research Centre for Museums and Galleries (RCMG), University of Leicester, evaluating the impact of the programme. The report analyses both the successes of the programme and its limitations, exploring research findings and outlining recommendations for future projects.
