Take our apprenticeships survey

7-13 February 2022 was National Apprenticeship Week 2022 and we’re proud to celebrate apprenticeships in museums and heritage organisations.

Apprenticeships are a way of unlocking the potential of our society, workforce and organisations, attracting diverse applicants and investing in their professional development.

We need your help to create a useful resource that captures the apprenticeship activity in our sector in one place, easily accessible to all.

Members of the Museums Trainers Network (MTN) have worked together to develop a questionnaire for individual organisations to complete to identify which UK museums, galleries and heritage sites host apprenticeships.

The data will be posted on an Apprenticeship Map (where permission to do so is granted) so those looking to embark on an apprenticeship in the sector will be able see what opportunities may be available to them.

In addition to supporting those wishing to join the sector, the data will be circulated to enable museums, galleries and other heritage and arts organisations to see where apprenticeships are hosted, supporting collaboration, learning and future development of apprenticeship opportunities.

The questionnaire takes 10 minutes to complete and the deadline for completion is 18 March 2022.

A dedicated Apprenticeship Survey for Scotland will be launched during Scottish Apprenticeships Week 7-13 March 2022.
