Sheikh Talal succeeds brother as OCA president

Sheikh Talal Fahad Al Ahmad Al Sabah has controversially been elected as the new president of the Olympic Council of Asia, replacing his brother Sheikh Ahmad, who was suspended from the role in 2021 after being convicted of forgery linked to a plot to overthrow Kuwait’s emir.
